Little Falls, New Jersey – April 3, 2008 – Verasoni Worldwide will turn off its lights for a 2 week period beginning April 7, 2008 and ending on April 21, 2008 as part of a comprehensive movement to conserve energy.
“We’re blessed with great office space that attracts lots of sun and light. And let’s face it, we’re in the business of delivering great ideas, and great ideas can happen with the lights off,” said Abe Kasbo, CEO of Verasoni Worldwide.
The company’s “Going Black to Be Green,” initiative will be in effect during normal business hours and until dark. The company currently turns off all unutilized computers and routs faxes to their server to be viewed as PDF documents as a part of its on-going paper reduction program.
“We are committed to a better environment and we’ll play our part, on a daily basis, to ensure that happens,” continued Kasbo.
