“I was born and raised in Aleppo and immigrated to the States at the age of 10 with my family, so this is a highly personal project for me. I see and experience the devastation from the relative safety of my home and office here in the States whether on TV or social media,” said Abe Kasbo, CEO of Verasoni Worldwide. “Art and this type of project in particular have a wonderful way of connecting people, bringing people together, and my hope is to continue to build bridges of understanding and contribute to the healing process,”  continued Kasbo.

“My aim is to raise awareness in the hope of changing the perception from destruction — of haunting and disturbing scenes to hopeful, colorful neighborhoods that are filled with life,” said artist Tony Khawam.
